I've had a new foster dog, Alfie, for the past 9 days. He is a darling. This one can be kept indoors so hopefully nasty neighbour won't see any need to but in.
Big Surprise!!! Cleo adores him and has from day 1. No muzzling necessary there! Tubbs is the one who is a bit unsure. I think she is just letting him know she is the boss and the position is not up for grabs. The one thing in his favour though is that I don't think he particularly wants the job. He's just a laid back big lump who wants to kiss everyone and everything, including the cats. Not sure they're too impressed with his kisses.
I think Cleo is better because she's been here before where another dog moved into her house and it worked out ok. Tubbs hasn't been in this position before so is a wee bit unsure I think. _________________ What youneed for the ultimate stressbuster---

OOPS!
I am really rubbish at this fostering business! Failed again! Alfie is here to stay. He just fits in so well with my girls. I am a bit selfish though, Cleo and Tubbs are daddy's girls a bit, but Alfie's definitely a mummy's boy!
I am so so so lucky! _________________ What youneed for the ultimate stressbuster---

I told him our good news later that night. His response was mmmm; so that's all good. Stuart came home last night and we went and got him his new collar and name tag. Just to get him insured and chipped now. We just need to work on Tubbs allowing him to play with her and Cleo now. Got a bit to go with that but will get there. The three of them will quite happily wander about the house together and lie and sleep together but Alfie is itching to play with them but Tubbs says a definite NO so far. _________________ What youneed for the ultimate stressbuster---
