Just back from Flo's 1st training class. She loved it! It is the 1st time she has ever seen another dog and she was brilliant. Very into socialising! I don't think her tail stopped wagging the whole time. She only watched today as that was enough excitement for 1day and also I was way too scared to wander about among the other dogs - I know it's only puppy class but I am a big coward ( the classes are as much for me as her!)
Thank you very much to everyone for making us feel welcome. See you all next week (after I take my brave pills!)
Xx

It was great to see all the puppies large and small and flo will just love learning and joining in. We've had many owners like yourself who have anxiety around dogs, with small steps and positive attitude you'll get there. Look forward to seeing you each week .

Glad you enjoyed it Sandra, it was hectic last night because there was a few new puppies........it will calm down Smile

I am sure that you will relax around the other dogs as you get to know them and their owners.

As Janis says we have quite a few handlers who are/were very wary of dogs........as you get to know everyone chatting to people who were anxious in the past will I am sure help you relax.

As you saw were run very relaxed classes and would never put anyone in a position they were uncomfortable with.

John

Hi Sandra & Flo

So glad you both enjoyed your 1st training class, we joined about 3 years ago when we got Tia as a pup, we had always had rescue dogs and 1 of them was attacked by another dog when I had them out, as you can imagine it really shook me and really put me off dogs and walking... when we got Tia and took her to class I was terrified...the 1st dog she ran to was Blaze and I thought thats it she is gone he could have swallowed her whole... ( the are the BEST of friends )..we stuck with it thinking a couple of months at this and we will be fine....... now we are addicted we would`nt miss a week its great for the dogs and has been wonderful for me ...
