Can anyone give any advice on this my wee Pomchi pup has bouts of this and sometimes appears a little distressed , it sounds and looks like he's choking I try to gently rub his neck but not convinced this helps can anyone advise what if anything I should do when this is happening. It seems to be getting worse as he gets older too.
Thanks Carolynne

Common problem is breed with small narrow snouts.

When he starts simply pinch his nose so than yon close both nostrils, hold for a couple of seconds and when you let get it should have stopped.

For some dogs you may need to do that a couple of times. But 9times out of 10 you only need to do it once.
