Was going to say we met Jimmy Saville on holiday this year and he was really friendly, but just remembered we met the Queen once. She was opening an exhibition and Mike was on the Bible Society Board at the time. It wasn't that impressive an awful lot of hanging around and protocol. Wink

Princess Anne took the mick out of me!

And I was on the Fred McAuley Show and signed a few autographs when I was "famous" journalist in Dundee (contradiction in terms).

I also trained with the lovely David Currie who presents sport on BBC Scotland.

Met and chatted to Billy Connolly one day in Glasgow. He saw me working and came over to ask me what I was doing. He ended up missing his lunch date with friends because he stood joking and laughing with me for over an hour! He was brilliant.
Johnny Vegas in Birmingham Airport. Came and sat down with us in the pub for a while as he waited for his flight. He was lovely!!!
Also Princess Diana, Prince Charles (who smelled wonderful!!!!) Princess Anne and Duchess of York (Fergie) - all of which were in the line of duty as a copper and I have to say Prince Charles was my fave, he was sooooo nice. and Fergie was jolly!

Robbie Coltrane - used to hire bouncy castles from John - very charming man! And Magnus Hedman used to hire sunbeds.......... his wife was Johns favourite customer!!!! She was very petite, blonde and stunningly beautiful with 2 very obvious assets! Shocked ............ he used to go gaga when she phoned him ......... on his mobile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enid I used to see Gray O'Brien in Tesco ...... Mark Hateley too and also Steven Presley lives down that way too. I see him in Tesco shopping often!!

oh and I was on Songs of Praise when I was at school! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

They do indeed, Marcella. Mark Hately is the sunbed king now and Steven is an absolute poppet. He was playing kickabout with 2 wee boys I know last summer - you should have seen their faces!
