Wow, he's massive!
He has kind eyes! I think he is lovely, but I know I couldn't handle a chap like him!

I don't think I'd find a more handsome boy than mine (but I am totally biased) - but he comes very close. What an impressive looking dog.

Thanks to everyone for your compliments about Oscar - I haven't passed them on 'cos he's far too cocky as it is:-)))

Look forward to meeting some of you soon, hopefully!

BTW, Suzanne, you're absolutely right - we're all biased towards our dogs, they're always the best:-))

Kind regards
Lynn

I had to laugh when I read that:-)) He'd flatten me, I think:-)) It's bad enough when he sits on my foot!

He's very much a 'velcro' dog and really wants to be next to me most of the day! If I'm out, without him, he lays in my 'den' waiting for me to come home (so I'm reliably told by my husband!).

He (the dog!) is not allowed in the bedroom at night - makes too much noise and keeps me awake:-)

After quite a bit of work with Mishka, she is now allowed to sleep on her bed in our room at night but we do get kept up some nights Confused

Hi Deborah

I think it's like with kids - better in a different room! Oscar sometimes sounds like he's stirring a tin of paint Laughing

Kind regards

Hi Kendal

He was 2 days short of 12 weeks old in the first photo (and we'd had him for a week), 16months old in the 2nd photo and 3yrs 5months in the 3rd photo. The head shot in the small photo was taken when he was 20 months old.

We always laugh when we look at the size of the kennel in that photo!

It was actually bought for a dog that we had before Oscar - a black flat coat retriever who was 12 months old when we got him. We'd only had him 3months when the window cleaner climbed over our locked gate, unlocked it, bought in his ladder and left the gate open - needless to say Rio was off like a shot! We never saw him again despite driving the streets night after night, endless local advertising, advertising in the papers and annoying the SPCA for weeks! I've never 'lost' a dog before and I was absolutely mortified!

Our gate now has a lock and key in addition to the bolt! Not that anyone would get anywhere near the gate to unlock it:-)

Bye for now, I guess you'll be off to training shortly - if you've not gone already!

Lynn

Thought you might like to see some more photos of 'the boy' growing up!

Look at those ears! A few days under 4 months old.

4 months old (when he was allowed up on the furniture - shame on you, Lynn!)

Kind regards
Lynn

And here's some more!

With his dad! Aged 6 months!

At hydrotherapy, which he loved, after a sore leg! Just short of 2yrs old.

Hope these don't clog up the system:-))

Kind regards
Lynn
