Debbie, Eleanor and I spent some time at the new Acorn pet shop in Cumbernauld today......
Debbie was promoting pet portrait photos ( plus the Club), Eleanor was promoting Puppy School ( plus the Club) and I was promoting the Club.

The shop was busy....even Fiona turned up!..........lots of potential new members, quite a few members who may return because of our new bigger hall and lots of existing Club members.

I took Murphy up....he behaved extremely well..........raised his lip at a few in your face pups......but that's just him Very Happy

Highlights were Debbie being terrified by the snakes Laughing the 9 week GSD pup, the 7! week border collie pup............and at the end of the day when I went out to get more business cards Murphy went into a 'down stay'at the entrance to the shop while I went out to the van......He didn't move a muscle until I walked back in and gave him a close command as I passed and took him with me......only the staff saw it but were wide eyed as I did it..........felt so proud of Him Laughing

Diesel is quiet and calm.................At least he does not go out of his way to make a trainer look good Laughing

Oh, I have the girls riding lesson this afternoon and im just thinking of getting out of my PJ's at the moment, you know, the lazy Sun morning feeling Very Happy

We need to go for all our animal feed, but we go to Glenmavis and get everything at the same place, chicken feed, cat litter, horse feed and dog food Smile cheaper than Acorn but I like to go there for treats for the dogs, I love the fact the dogs can get in Smile

I took Diesel up today and he behaved impeccably............OK he did bark back at the Rhodesian Ridgeback when it started barking at him! But that was he was wound up and had just arrived!

All in all it was good exposure for the Club...loads of cards were handed out.can only be good for us Very Happy

The weekend at Acorn went really well Smile

I must have given out at least 100 cards, lots of dogs and lots of puppies Wink

My poor legs, I'm not used to standing around Rolling Eyes

But it was well worth it
