That's great news. I've been in Dundee today and I was wondering how things were.
You'll sleep better tonight. _________________ Janice and Dale |

Nicola,
Thanks for your comments on the Burns v James Wellbeloved. Much appreciated. |
You're very welcome. Glad you're dog is feeling better.
Both James Wellbeloved and Burns foods are hypo-allergenic. |

I've just read on another forum that James Wellbeloved are under the make Pedigree and have been for a couple of years. Just thought i'd let you all know this incase you have any problems with Pedigree.
Although it's under Pedigree, the ingredients haven't changed so the food is still as good as it's always been, as far as I know. |

Hi All,
Many thanks for all of your good wishes, advice and support while Eilidh was ill. She's back to her old self although we are of course still being very careful with her diet.
This forum is a really great resource for us all. Thank goodness we have it
Thanks a lot John and Marcella. |

Great she is feeling better,
a problem shared is a problem halved..........sometimes it is great to be able to get (almost) immediate reassurance on things from like minded people _________________ John Thomson

Have you decided which food you're changing her to? |

Burns, probably Chicken and rice. There's a pet shop, Russells, in Muirhead that is going to give me samples of each flavour which is good. I couldn't find any other place that has samples of it.
I don't have anything against James Wellbeloved, it's just that I am drawn to the Burns. Maybe because I used it for my last beardie, Blue, who had kidney trouble. Of course it may be that they refuse to eat it but I'll have to cross that bridge when I come to it! |

Sheryl has just swapped to Burns............I'm sure she said they are soon switching to internet only sales.
Sheryl liked the telephone helpline....clearly one of the better dry foods. _________________ John Thomson

Good choice, I think.
I have used Burn chicken and rice for a while now with no problems.
Hope your dog likes it! Persevere if she doesn't! |

Hi Alison,
Not been on for a few days now sorry! (shock shock horror)
Yeah that's what mine are on chicken and rice!
They love it!!
Before when I put their dinner down (bakers) they would eat some but not it all.Now they get 2.5oz in the morning and 2.5oz at night and they love it! as soon as its put down its gone! Keano I feel has filled out a wee bit which is great and Cobys coat feels really good!!!
If you need a sample or whatever give me a shout you can get some from the boys!
But shhhhhhhhh dont tell them coz they really do love it that much! And now they have settle to it when Chris and I have mince chicken etc they get some raw bits added in! (I can do the mince but, Chris deals with giving them raw chicken! For some reason I just cant do it!!!) lol
Oh I also got the boys treats from burns as they are natural as well, kelties there called I think!!
