Got Hektor back yesterday, seeming back to his normal self.
Nice 3" scar, most of his hair on right side of neck missing but otherwise fine.
He doesn't seem affected or in any pain at all thankfully.
Confined to one room, no off lead walking, not even in garden and STRICTLY no jumping, carrying on or running about for 3 weeks, FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
So no training school for 3 weeks and no 'Bark in the Park' for us. They had to dissect through neck muscles and they are concerned that he might damage them if he does too much.
I've had to confiscate all the 'hot' toys (the ones they fight over) and poor Hek keeps coming up wanting to play with his tuggy rope. Not a good idea.
Anyone got any ideas for keeping him occupied with not too much leaping about? |

I know this may sound boring, well 3 wks of it for sure, but some off lead heel work if poss in the house with a treat in hand or so would stimulate his mind. Down stays and light retrieval with no 'hot' toys. It will be hard thou, just lap up having him back, i,m sure within days you'll be ripping your hair out!
