That must be a relief! I'm so glad she's not ill. Poor wee mite, the joys of being a female! Give her a big hug from me if it's allowed.

This is really strange, as this normally happens at the end of a season?
At least it isn't anything serious, i,d keep an eye on her however, she prob will be a bit out of character, and i wouldn't be surprised if she had a season within the next few weeks! _________________ Barry, Kylie & Jay with precious Rotti Tikka |

Hope she is back to normal soon.
Moya has had them a few times, but usually after her season, around the time when she would be due pups if she was actually pregnant There is stuff the vet can give you to take them out of it but our vet said its pretty expensive and she would be fine without it...not sure what it was called as we decided to wait
give Tara a wee huggy from me anyway _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

Poor Tara. I've only ever had one bitch and this never happened to her so I have no advice to offer here. Give her a hug from me too. |

Lizzy has been going throught hte same thing a couple of weeks ago she was off her food a bit not eating much and last week had fluid in her teats but her mood has been ok and she's not been protecting toys or anything it started right when she would have been dye if she had been preggers, just have to put up with it Dora had one too so it's pretty common she will come out of it soon enough but if you don't intend on breeding it might be worth getting her spayed to stop it from happening again. |

Rosie used to get quite depressed (literally) when she was going through false pregnancies. Once she got spayed she was much happier. To be fair though she was about 5 years old at the time when she came to us so it may have been going on a while. Hope Tara feels better soon. _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |
