Feel like we havent done a training class or dog walk forever!

Hektor was at Vet yesterday AGAIN to get a drain put in his neck where the calcinoma lump was to try to reduce the size of the bl00dy thing!!! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
Now he's leaking disgusting fluid everywhere, back on antibiotics and restricted exercise once more....

Had hoped to get to class this Sunday but its not going to happen.

(to add insult to injury(ha ha Smile) got him neutered at the same time! Poor boy!!!)

As John & Marcella has said, everyone missing you and Hektor at classes and the odd Glen visit! I luckily get a wee glimpse from time to time as our kids go to same school, but feel so frustrated for you guys! Is it just that it keeps getting infected that it won't heal? Or is there more to it Lisa? Confused

Its not really been infected Barry, its just the reaction to the fairly deep surgery, where it is on his neck and the fact that he keeps bouncing about that causes the swelling. The good news is that he doesnt seem bothered at all, he hasnt even noticed that parts of his anatomy (dangle-berries) are missing!!! Very Happy

It seems that he will be left with some sort of lump and a pretty scar but I'm not planning on showing him at all so that doesnt matter.

We had 2 days at the weekend of normality when I was able to let him off the lead and let him run - heaven! He was so much better behaved when he had a decent walk.

Such a shame, when Tikka has been injured her behavior deteriorates and its so much harder to be stress free with a bouncing large doggy in the house. You have had it much worst than most trying to contain poor Hektor and poor you! Isn't there a covering that can be applied to go over the wound so he can still get out, or is it the movement in general that's causing the long recovery and recurrent set backs?
Get well soon Hektor, and hope you start to feel bit better spirits real soon! Wink
