Does anyone do heel work to music and do you have to be well co-ordinated yourself? I have been contemplating doing something with Harvey and a trainer I have been in contact with has suggested heel work to music however I am known to have two left feet

I was at a 2 day demo/training course with Richard Curtis (without the dog tho)...with the hope of doing it with Pixel....it was great but I have never bothered with it now....story of my life but thats another tale to tell
but no it wasnt too difficult I am not the most co-ordinated person but I could have did it and we did stuff without dogs as well as learning how to train them to do it, although the 2 days was for people who had some idea and done some of it, I went in new and ab. novice (hence why I and a few others didnt have dogs with us) and managed ok and you really dont have to be able to dance as such
I would still love to do it, but along with breaking a pony, making jewellery, having the other dogs to deal with, I dont see me having the time or dedication for it _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

Thanks Shirley that is reassuring. I had visions of falling over Harvey.

I took Kodi and Oscar up to Papa Dacs tonight to try this out.
They were great, but I was bad. (May have been the Full Moon)
I was missing John and Alans instruction.
Maybe try again next week.
