John, he doesn't seem to bother when i touch it, it's about the size of a 10 pence or maybe bit bigger, bright red in colour and does not move when touched |

with enzo being so young I doubt it is anything serious...hope not anyway
a reaction to a foreign body such as a thorn would be my guess
if it is not tender, a boil or abscess seems less likely
keep us up to date and try not to worry |

I would get it checked on Monday ..........just for peace of mind.......I would doubt that it is anything sinister but better to put your mind at rest.

I will try not to worry but being my first gsd myself after being brought up with them i suppose i worry just like i do when my kids are ill, i hope that the vet will tell me that also as he seems to be running about in the park today and to look at him you would think nothing is wrong but when anyone feels a lump they think the worst until proved otherwise |

Oh Tracy - you've fell into the trap I do all the time - going searching on the internet!
From everything you are saying it sounds like what I originally suspected (because of the upset tum too) a boil and/or infected wound. I would go with Claire's suggestion - call the vets if you're that worried, speak to them and see what they have to say. I'm sure it'll be OK to wait until Monday for an appointment but you now need your mind setting at rest and I don't think you are going to achieve that without speaking with them now.
Let me know when you have found out what it is, will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way.xxxxxxxxxxxxx _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

No - that's what they're there for! I wouldn't hesitate - but then my vets know that I would phone if ever, whenever I was worried and they don't mind in the slightest - honest love - set your mind at rest
I'd do it for you but I haven't seen the lump and don't know of any other symptoms they might ask about that might or might not be important.
Sorry don't mean to put you under any pressure - just trying to reassure you.xxx _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

Hi Jack, phoned the vet there and they said it could be lymphoma whatever that is but will not know until Monday at the vets but because he is bright and energetic it should be okay until Monday but if he suddenly becomes lethargic to phone them straight back and they will get a vet to look at him |
