Guinness had the lump on his nose removed today and now have a week to wait until test results come back. The vet was very evasive when I asked if she could give me any indication if she thought this was innocent and benign lump.
I was really in good frame of mind thinking cant be serious hes so young but feeling very worried now . He has become a real regular visitor to the vets in such a short space of time he has his last demodex mites bath next monday and thought we were at last had a clean bill of health
i know you guys cant tell me that it will be ok but I think just sharing the worry might make feel a little better |

Perfectly natural to be worrying Maureen, I'd be the same no matter what the vet had said
I think he/she was right to be cautious and give no indication - what if she gave you false hope/or worst case scenario and the opposite turned out to be true? You'd find it hard to forgive either way. Just look at how traumatised Craig/Tracy were and as it turns out un-necessarily so.
Best thing you can do, and this is WAY easier said than done, is to TRY not to fret and TRY not to dwell until you know for certain the results.
We'll all be thinking of you & wishing for a positive outcome.xxxxxxx _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

Thanks Jack know you are right but I am lets face the problem type of person and not so good at the waiting. My son and daughter are really worried and I am trying to be " lets not worry unnecessarily" at least here I can let out my worries to fellow owners. |

Know EXACTLY how you feel. Last year Hektor was (wrongly) daignosed at 7 months with bone cancer, I thought we were going to lose him and was devastated. £3000 later and a spell at the Vet School diagnosed an out of control calcium deposit, the lab had made a mistake. Wasnt angry at the lab , just relieved he would be Ok!
The waiting is the worst bit...easy to say dont worry (you will) but he has youth on his side, let us know when you hear, thinking about you

Just like me Maureen - I can't do the waiting/patience thing either but sometimes you're forced into it and no amount of worrying yourself will change it. Of course we all understand where you're coming from and it does help massively to share your honest feelings with other who truly understand. We'll be here to help no matter what - I know I'll be sending you nothing but good luck wishes as long as you need them.xxx _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

Keeping all our fingers and paws crossed for you. The only thing you can do when you're in worry hell is to keep going until you get through it. I hope the week goes quickly for you and the results are the best. _________________ Regards,

Maureen that is what the forum is for, it allows you to vent your concerns with people who understand your connection with your dog. most of us have needed the forum for that as some point or another. keep us posted on how he is doing. _________________ microchiping and grooming www.chipnclip.co.uk
