Well, not sure where to post this but Mishka has just had her 1st assessment and got her first hydrotherapy session. What a laugh!! Yelping , whining , crying ( and that was just us). She did well but we have been told her hips are really bad. Steering away from surgery for her sake but still to get report from orthopaedic surgeon.
She starts with 3 sessions a week = 1 session of physio...................................so if anyone prints large notes they would be gratefully recieved Laughing Laughing Laughing

yes, now we do but still aren't sure how much or what they will cover as we have had to wait until we have the results of tests

Fingers crossed for you Deborah and most importantly for Mishka. Wink

Check the small print of your Insurance Deborah - most will be written to specifically exclude an illness or disease that has been diagnosed OR tested for prior to inception of the policy so unless you have a vet willing to state tests/diagnosis was conducted AFTER the inception of the policy you might find they won't cover this - I hope you got in ahead of the tests to save your pockets - I know you will do whatever it takes to make Mishka more comfortable anyway but it'd be easier for you if the Insurance picked up the cost. Smile

Kisses to the beautiful girl please & please do keep us posted of her progress.xxx

Cheers. They are sending us out claim forms but we are concerned they try to get out of it because she was hit by a car when she was a pup. It was only her head and front paw that was damaged but you know what the insurance companies can be like. We have had the insurance for over a year now. Possibly even two.

I am sure you will be fine with the insurance, our pet insurance pays maximum 4000 for illness, look it out as Jack said and have a look at it, keep us posted on how Mishkas treatment progresses Smile

From what you say Deborah you should be fine. The accident cannot be linked with hips that haven't developed properly. Let us know anyway when you can.

EVERYTHING crossed for Mishka.xxxxxxxxx
