Came home tonight and there is a bit of fresh blood on the carpet.......
both Emily and I have checked both dogs over thoroughly....any we can find no sign of anything amis
Will keep a close eye on them to try and trace the source.

It is a nose bleed.....Murphy.
this happened a few years back to Diesel.......council spraying weedkiller was the most likely culprit back then.
He is not stressed and is drinking and eating as normal.

A quick update on this..........no bleeding for 24 hrs......
Going down stairs quickly or jumping was setting this off......pretty much any kind of bump.
But the bleeding was coming from the dry markes he has on the end of his nose........and at times 'squirting out' for a couple of feet with his heartbeat.........at least it was stopping after a couple of minutes.
Will try to keep him from setting it off as much as I can..

Well over 48 hrs with no more bleeding I'm beginning to wonder if he has injured his nose while out running about ( perhaps on a thorn?) which has caused a weak spot.......don't really know if this is plausible.

I am so glad he seems to be over it.
Poppy has scratched her nose on a rose in the garden and bled before. Maybe it was just a thorn. I hope so. _________________ Regards,
