Hi I don't know if I am using the prong collar correctly. The loop for the lead to attach to should it be at the side of the neck or back.

Thanks
Elaine

sorry i know this was titled for john or my mum but thought i would answer. it depends on you, some people like it at the side others like it at the back, i prefer it at the back, but if the girls are off lead, when they come back it has usually slid round a little so it sits on the side, i sometimes correct it other times i just leave it.

i would say try both and see which you prefer.

thanks kendall, I think I will put it on the back of the neck then I find it easier this way. Could you also tell me how much the collar is and I will pay for it on Sunday.

Thanks
Elaine

Hi janis thanks for replying I will come up tomorrow night and pay for it if thats ok because I need to buy more links as well. I can't get it on her today but it has been fine the rest of the time, didn't expect her to grow so quickly.

Hi,

I prefer the ring to be at the back of the neck.......means it is never on the 'wrong' side if the dog is on your left or right.
