I had Buster at the park today and as there was no one else around I had him off the leash. He was running about having fun and I saw a woman coming across the park, as she looked a bit worried when he started to run over to her I called him back and he came back right away no messing about. I had him come and walk beside me and the woman was impressed (so was I, I didn't know he could!) and she complimented me on my well trained dog! Jim will faint when he hears this one. Very Happy

That's great. See wot one night back at classes can do.

Its just a great feeling when someone compliments you on your 'well trained dog' - I know when it happened to me I felt like I was ten feet tall.

Congratulations to you and buster

A big well done to both of you gives you a real ego boost when you get a compliment about how well trained your dog is, Buster will also sense your confidence so this will also help in your training

I had a similar moment today when Otto had been playing with some dogs out on the walk. We moved on but I turned my back and he was off running after them. A loud shout did make him stop in his tracks, stood and thought about it for a couple of seconds, and came running back to me.

Does make you want to faint!
