NICOLA!

HAVING OWNED 2 POODLES OVER AN 18 YEAR PERIOD AND KNOWING 3 OTHERS I MUST DISAGREE AND SAY THEY STILL DO CAST BUT VERY LITTLE!

LIKE US WITH HAIR WE REQUIRE IT TRIMMED OR CUT BUT CAN STILL SHED A FEW HAIRS SO CAN POODLES!

Janis,

No need for the capital letters, or is this your attempt to shout at me? Just curious.

Poodles shed little to no hair, that is a fact. When a Poodles coat is changing from it's puppy coat to it's adult coat, they matt very easily, and if not brushed daily, will lead to matts which, in turn, can cause hair to fall out. Brushing and combing removes the loose hair, but they shed little to no hair. Much like the Bichon Frise. Surely, having been a Poodle owner, you would know that already.

No problem, Janis. It's just that exclamation marks along with capital letters is deemed as shouting on messageboards. Smile

Right guys this is going to turn into bitching and it's not what the forum is about as has been stated on many posts previously we must repect each other and our views and not insult, patronise or be condesending to others on the forum. Everyone has their own views and opinions and this is what makes us all unique, lets not get into slagging each otehr off or making posts personal it makes for much better reading if we all respect each other and get on on the forum. If we don't agree thats fine we are aloud to!!! but if thats the case then lets not go on about it for pages and pages just agree to disagree and treat each other as we would wish to be treated ourselves. Now sorry if i sound like mummy here it's just we had enough silliness on the feeding post to last us a lifetime and it's just much nicer if we all get on Smile

Not that long ago I watched a program on TV about dogs and they were talking about a Blabador -Bloodhound & Labrador. I don't think the dog would look really unusual, I just thought the name was really cool Very Happy
