Sarand is very beautiful!!!!!!
John loves birds of prey, he took lots of snaps of a hawk that was flying around us yesterday at Ben Lomond. It was black with grey chest....????? Not brownish like most. Didn't know what it was.

Sals,
I would love to take you up on that offer.

this is the bird we saw on Ben Lomond........black and grey ,clearly a hawk, perhaps 36 inch wingspan..maybe a little more...never seen anything like it before........it was not frightened of humans............it ( and its partner) came very close

This is the best close up of him, he had a light grey underside, black underside wings with a black head.......a handsome big bird who was unfazed that humans were on his patch........at a guess his wingspan was 36 inches plus

It looks like a hooded crow, we see them a lot going up to Skye and they also seem to float like hawks
