You would be surprised Nicola, thats what I first thought, but he hangs about over Pixel and she is never covered in any slobber and he does like her Very Happy I always did like the big Great Danes but like you apart from the room, it was slobbers that I didnt like the idea of.

I think you could get used to it though if they all looked like Basil Very Happy and he is black, wouldnt him and Pixel be a lovely pair Laughing

hes just lovely,Ireally miss Nala our dane. we lost her about a year and half ago now. but we`ve got sula,laya,simba nowto keep us going.

I can just see Basil and Pixel together, Shirley! Laughing He's big enough to steal food off the table and kitchen worktops for her! She'd only need to look at him and he'd probably oblige! Laughing

He could also mug peoples pockets for treats....I swear the time I met Pixel she was boring holes in my pockets and treat bag with her big eyes!! Shocked Laughing

HE IS SUCH A BEAUTY AND I GOT VERY CLOSE TO HIM LAST NIGHT AT THE CLUB WITHOUT A SOBBER IS SIGHT! HE IS MAGNIFICENT IN NATURE AS WELL AS FLESH! SO GLAD TO KNOW HIM! Very Happy
