Yesterday I tried using a haksaw blade on my car carpets in the boot ( not the dogs ) ! And it worked a treat OH foned me when I was in the middle of it he was laughing when I told him what I was up to, in Aldi car park whilst out getting the messages ( don't ask )...any way he said his dad used to use a haksaw blade on his old labradors coat ouch !
So if your boot carpets need a going over try the haksaw blade ! _________________ paw prints on my heart |

I used a shedding blade for Roxy's coat occasionally, it brings her up a treat. It has little teeth on a curved blade. I know people who have several hairy dogs who use it to get the hair from their stair carpets! |

Years ago my dad had a Shepherd called 'Wolf', which he showed.
For grooming he used a hacksaw blade, halved then slid it into a groove that had been cut into a 6inch piece of wood from a broom handle.
According to him it was the best ever........quite similar to the furminator blade........ _________________ John Thomson

We have used hacksaw blades on the horses, as long as you are carefull its fine, wouldnt try it with the whippet but the rest of them have tough hides here _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen
