Buster fell over this morning when he was sick and it took him a few moments to get back up again. This has happend twice before when I was walking him and I thought then that it was something he had eaten. The first time was scarey as he couldn't get to his feet and he ( and I ) panicked. I have had lots of dogs and never seen it before but can anyone tell me if it has happened to their dog?
Thanks Geraldine |

I have to agree the vet is the best route.
We could all speculate as my dads dog had similar problems but the vet is the Best bet.
Hope you go on OK. _________________ Happiness is being loved by 2 Great Danes |

I agree Geraldine, I think the vet needs to see him. He is perhaps dehydrated from being sick and not too well.
Please let us know how he gets on. |

The first time he fell over i phoned the vet in a panic and they said it could have been an allergic reaction, to something he had eaten in the field, as he was back to his normal wee self after a few minutes. The second time I was in the next field up and I thought oh God he's eaten something again but this morning Claire let him out into the garden and had a clear view of him so we know he didn't eat anything. It is really weird because once he gets up on his feet you would never know anything had been wrong. Jim will take him down to the vets to get checked out I can't face it after all the blood tests our last wee dog went through. |

When Pixel was a puppy, we had 3 episodes of this...she would sit with a dazed look on her face then just keel over, then after about a few seconds was back up normal we blamed febreeze but it was only those times then never ever done them again probably in the space of a month or less. to this day we really dont know but I blamed that.
