Despite being told by the Westfield residents committee that they did not want a poo bin in the vicinity of Westfield Hall I continued to press NLC by email for one to be put up.........last email was 10 days ago.........and success Laughing
We now have a bin right outside the hall..........it goes without saying that we should all use it when needed to keep the area clean.

Who is this Westfield Residents Committee anyway? I've seen a flyer from them (once, ages ago) but that was it!

Because I live in Westfield and I don't remember them ever asking me if I wanted a dog poop bin...

I've never heard anything as daft. They are obssessed by bins that lot - if they aren't trying to stop dog poop bins going up then they are mumping and moaning about the wheelie bins!

Would they rather we just left it all in a nice wee pile outside the hall?!

Like Linsey I stay in Westfield and there is a distinct lack of poo-bins so well done John Very Happy. The only thing is that as with rubbish bins in the area it may be at risk of vandalism from some of those swear swear swear idiots who hang around Twisted Evil The residents council should be more worried about those Muppet's that don't clean up after their dogs as opposed to the club who are responsible or the loads of buckie bottles that lie in thousands of pieces and are more dangerous!

Oh!!! I KNOW! Don't even start me on all those wee bams...

We should send a few snipers out on friday and saturday nights - that should fix it.

Yes, the blessed council of westfield might want to be more worried about the neds and their graffitti and smashed-up bottles rather than, you know, getting up in arms about people wanting to do something sensible like clean up after their dogs.

That's councils for you - doesn't matter how small a scale it is on - one whiff of power and they are all away with the fairies!

We could be doing with your persuasive style around our area John, as quite often our poo bins are overflowing and the last time I contacted the council to report something I was given an inquisition before I could even tell them what I was wanting done! It was very off putting!!

I have emailed the council to query the £15.00 charge that was quoted to empty an overflowing bin.....I'll let you know what they reply.

I would like to know why some people go to the bother of picking up the poo and then either leave the bag on the ground, or as I have noticed in our park ,tie it to a tree branch! Question
