Clear run agility is where i am going, we just finished our first 6 week session, go back for beginners part two on the 24th. i can go all the way up to advanced if i want.
i think she is all booked up for her next beginners but you could contact her to find out, it is held at Tanoch stables for cumbernauld. then there are other places that she goes too _________________ microchiping and grooming www.chipnclip.co.uk

It's something I would love to do with Flynn, unfortunately I was put off a few years back I called around to agility places in the central belt (not the Palacerigg one just to add) and asked about joining with Cass anyway to cut a long story short everything went fine until I mentioned what breed she was and the first two places I called gave me no's after I told them she was a SBT, at first they were keen and giving me lots of info then when I said I wanted to go ahead it sounded good until they asked about her age, breed....suddenly no spaces became available or I just got an "ummm" after mentioning she was a Stafford and the tone changed. She's probably too old to begin now but I think Flynn would enjoy it. |

Not wishing at all to be a spoilsport , just a word of caution. If you are thinking of taking your dogs to agility and they are insured, just check that it covers for agility as I was reading on an agility site recently that not all policies do include it in their cover. Looks good fun though if Gypsy's photos are anything to judge by! |

To be honest, you will find at every good dog training club there is an equally good qualified instructor who puts safety of their pupils first and foremost. Agility these days is very fast moving and the safety of the dog is Paramount. That said there are may "training clubs" who don't have these qualities, however, its the owners responsibility to make sure they don't put their dog at unnecessary risk and should said "no" if they are ask to do so.
These "Frisbee" things that people throw are more likely to cause an injury! I don't use them, but I have seen a few dogs with damaged ligaments because of these things Some people don't realise how easy if is for their dog to get injured with these Frisbees! |

Nathan goes to Clear Run Agility with Roonie and i intend to go along with Breagha in May.
we also attended the agility competition today held down at Bishopton and had a great time watching all the dogs going through their paces.
both dogs and handlers seemed to be having a great time. |
