With immediate effect I would ask that anyone attending class who has need to use a poo bin uses the new bin INSIDE the hall and NOT the NLC one that has recently been erected.

Thank you for your co-operation in this.

Unfortunately the local residents do not wish a poo bin in the vicinity and will request we are refused entry to the hall unless the poo bin is removed. We MUST NOT let our dogs dirty outside, if they do it must be lifted and placed within our own bin.
John and I shall dispose of the contents each week.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

YOU CANNOT TELL ME THERE IS NO DOG OWNERS WITHIN WESTFIELD!

EVERY AREA SHOULD HAVE THESE BINS!

IT SHOULD BE AS COMPULSORY AS A REGULAR BIN FOR RUBBISH!

THERE ARE MORE YOBS AND IRRESPONSIBLE FOLK WHO CARE NOT A JOT TO THROW THEIR WRAPPERS ETC ON THE GROUND AS THEY WALK BACK FROM THE SHOPS!

SURLY THEY MUST BE HAPPIER THAT RESPONSIBLE OWNERS LIFT THEIR DOGS DOINGS AND DISPOSE OF THEM ACCORDINGLY THAN LEFT ON THE PAVEMENT FOR OTHER TO EITHER TRAMPLE THROUGH OR TRY TO AVOID!

The members of Westfield Community Council have objected on the grounds that it is close to the hall, a school and the shops and believe that North Lanarkshire Council will not empty it on a regular basis.

We do not use the area to walk our dogs...the amount of smashed glass sees to that! and therefore it is not an area that I would expect our dogs to foul......it is more likely that local residents would have used the outside bin.......however I would ask that if any dog has an accident in the Westfield area that it be bagged and binned in our Cumbernauld Dog School internal bin and we will dispose of it.
I trust that everyone who attends class on a Sunday afternoon will comply with my reqeust

I WILL CERTAINLY COMPLY TO YOUR REQUEST JOHN!

HOWEVER CAN WE REQUEST THAT THE STREET IS CLEANED REGULARLY OF BROKEN GLASS AS THERE ARE DOGS AND OWNERS WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE USE THIS AREA TO ATTEND THIS HALL!

that would be a benefit to all! It's more hazardous than a poo bin!

Marcella and I sweep the glass from the entrance to the hall every week to avoid cut paws Crying or Very sad

But if having our own poo bin inside the hall is what we need to do then so be it.

we do not take our dogs to Westfield Hall to use it as a toilet area so the external bin would more likely be used by local residents.
