The last few days I've found the site a bit slow to respond sometimes and cutting out occasionally for a very brief spell. Today when I was typing a post it stopped in the middle of a word and in the lower grey bar at the bottom (sorry I get the names mixed up!) I got a message like "waiting for brown cow spelling" ??!! It resumed normally shortly after though. It makes no sense to me (no surprise there !) and isn't a great problem but I thought you might like to know that it's happening |

The spelling cow spell checker should not affect the speed that a page loads

Across the UK apparently all companies having been having problems with broadband. Remember if you have more than one page open that all sites will run slower Gaelle. _________________ Barry, Kylie & Jay with precious Rotti Tikka |

I don't know, maybe it is my own PC to blame. I don't usually have multiple windows open at a time so it shouldn't be that thanks Barry, and the site is usually pretty responsive at other times. I have noticed however that I am getting more " attempted intrusion " warnings but figure that if I am being notified of them then they shouldn't have got past the defences. Perhaps I've got that wrong do you think? As I say it is not all the time it's happening but I'm no expert. Thanks for the replies folks. |
