Stevie and Kerry

Lynn came with me to the vets thank god. Dodge was pretty freaked out and it helped having the two of us to hold him. He was shaking like a leaf and a bit aggressive. All this did not stop him accepting treats off of Lynn in between snarls and growls!!!

At one point he just put his head into Lynns chest and just cried and howled.

He has sliced the top of one of the pads on his front paw - nothing to stitch so has been bandaged up with loads of padding. Going back on monday to have the dressings changed. But have been given sedatives for him before we go Crying or Very sad It will save him getting so stressed out.

No walks for Dodge for a couple of weeks - just out in the garden for him to do his business

Kirsty - I'm glad I spoke to you and I could hear you were fine ....... Laughing Laughing Laughing .... was more concerned about you than Dodge! The big guy might hate the vet but I bet he was less panicky than you! Wink

Good luck with the 'no walks for a couple of weeks' Surprised I'm sure Dodge will be delighted with that! Rolling Eyes

Kirsty, I am so sorry about Dodge. I hope he copes with his walking ban. You too need a wee chill. Hope it is all fine soon. I will pm you later as I have tutoring again tonight from 5.30.
Poppy cut her paw this morning too. I don't know where. She wasn't making a fuss and I only saw the blood on the floor. Luckily it is a small wound. Some Tea Tree gel and sprayed instant plaster and she seems fine.

Lorna, the vets nurse said they are having a whole load of dogs in with cut paws this weather! Its a disgrace. It was only last April that Dodge need an operation to sew a lacerated paw - 11 months ago!
