Had a phone call from the vet about the biopsy they took on tuesday when they were xraying the lump on his neck.
News is not good.
There are spindle cells present in the lump which indicate that it is an osteosarcoma (basically a bone cancer).
He has an emergency appointment at Glasgow Vet School on Monday at 10am for further investigations, possibly an MRI scan on Tuesday.

Needless to say I am gutted.

On the plus side (if there is one), otherwise he is a healthy, happy dog, showing no other signs of illness. he is still eating and being a pest. he only had one day of being off-colour on the day I found his lump.

I am trying to be positive here but realistic. I wont know anymore until the oncologist vet has a look.

Am opening the wine now.......
