Got Hektor back tonight like a patchwork pup where he's been shaved but none the worse for wear!

Cautiously optimistic - the MRI showed the lump was distinct from his vertebrae so will not be too complicated to remove. The chest xray was clear so it hopefully has not spread to his lungs. They took biopsies from the lump and from the enlarged lymph nodes in his abdomen and we should get the results towards the end of the week, looking at surgery the week after when they know for sure what they are dealing with.

What an emotional rollercoaster this has been! Hopefully no more dips... Smile

Thanks Janis, the angel did the trick...he'll be wearing it constantly from now on
