Otto has barfed up his last three meals. He seems fine otherwise, is pooing and drinking ok.

Do I feed him tomorrow morning or starve him for a day as if it was having trouble at other end?

Like most dogs he does barf occasionally but not three times in a row.

that's what i would do, starve for 24 hours with lots of fluids................then introduce small meals, maybe rice and chicken or scrambled egg!

Yup he does gobble it down, and suspect that might have something to do with it.

But on one occasion he was sick 12 hours after his last meal. The last 2 were just after eating something. He also chewed up 2 balls so that might be a factor.

He's not being sick at other times and is pooing normally.

Not that much if anything - he usually spits it out.

Certainly won't be big bits. Just unusual for him to barf up 3 meals.

The young lad is about tomorrow, so maybe give him 4 small meals and see how he goes.

He's certainly not acting ill....

Just keep an eye on his poos too. If they stop I would maybe get him checked out. But the vet told us to feed Mishka smaller meals more often when she was being sick. Good luck Very Happy

This can be a response to gobbling his food down too quickly. Try to feed him so that he cannot get a lot down quickly. I would stare him to make sure he clears out any more rubbish.

I'm just going to feed him 3 small meals today and see how he goes.

He does get a lot to eat as he uses a lot of energy and I think a lot of it is just because he was wolfing it down, but has never happened 3 times in a row before.

He turned his nose up at his breakfast, but I think that's because he got chicken yesterday and thought he should get that all the time. He ate it eventually.

Just thought i would tell you about a bowl you can get to slow down feeding, called a brake fast bowl, you can get them in the uk either from a shop or on ebay. another tip is to put a weight or tennis balls in the bowl to stop the quick feeding or even putting the dogs food on a tray.
hope he is ok
