Give Jack a piriton (you can buy them in Tesco) ........... it's safe to give dogs! I bet it helps the itching! |

totally do that. Vet said same to me - piriton is safe for them.
And tomorrow AM phone up and get appointment with another vet.
And who cares if you offend her or anyone else - if my dog isn't well and it is something as scary as this I am expecting some serious action for my dog's well being, not to mention my hard earned cash and my peace of mind _________________ Dogs are the leaders of the planet.

doesn't sound silly. Diesel was very ill after sniffing where they had sprayed weedkiller. |

If this was something he sniffed or inhaled the damage would be inside his nose not outside on the top..........I cannot understand why the vet did very little......even if it was the vet whose husbands name is over the door _________________ John Thomson

Go back and ask to see another vet. Graham Leathers or Mr Orsi (can't remember his first name).......... he's good. |

She redressed Skye's bandages after her op they were off in 5 Min's. She then redressed them 4 times more and they came off within 5 Min's so i brought the dressings and redressed them myself. _________________ Happiness is being loved by 2 Great Danes |

I would also get a different vet....I have to trust my vet 100% there is no way this woman would touch my dog.
I know it is further but if you need a 2nd opinion I would go to Acres in Airdrie and get either of the 2 young girls, Ruth or Sarah or the older woman to look at him.
Either that or is there another vet in the practice you can ask for
when I say young girls they know what they are talking about, both own the practice now _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen
