I have found a lump at the top of Cuthbert's leg. It is about the size of a marble, round, fairly soft, and moveable there is also a polyp growing outside the skin in the same place which is getting bigger over the last few days. I'm not too worried but as it is growing a bit I'll be happier just to get it checked out so we're off to the vet tomorrow afternoon, thankfully it is Graham (Leathers) who's on and not any of my lesser favourites. We'll see what he says tomorrow.

Perhaps just a calcium lump like Hektor?

Hope everything goes well in the morning.

We went to the vet today and thankfully the swelling has turned out to be a localised reaction to a tick bite. He removed the tick and gave an antibiotic injection. I can do many things for my dog but I'm not too sure I could take a tick out. That is the first time I have ever come across a tick and hope it'll be the last too! pale
Thanks for your support.
