Hi,

I'm Gwen and I live in West Cornwall with my hubby and my 2 gorgeous dogs.
I have a GSD named Blue who is 9 years old and a Great DaneXNewfie named Sadie who has just turned 12.

I sell pet food & other stuff for a living & drive around this beautiful part of the country in my ickle delivery van.
I am very luck as I spend all day, every day around dogs.
GSD's are my first love and as long as I am physically capable I will always have a GSD at my side.

Looking forward to joining in on the forum and getting to know new people Laughing

Hi Shirley & John,

Thanks for the welcome.

I will post some pics in a mo . I have got tons of the dogsters Laughing

Sadly I don't think we will have Sadie for much longer as she has recently been diagnosed with lymph cancer Crying or Very sad
We nearly lost her a few months back and she was soo poorly the vet had to come out to the house BUT a few injections & 2 days later & she bounced back to health.
I'm not totally convinced she has cancer ( perhaps I'm in denial) but 2 vets seem to think so Crying or Very sad
At her age we aren't going to have her messed about with biopsies etc.
She is losing weight gradually and that is a symptom apparently and she will be prone to infections - that's what laid her low last time.
Each day from here on is a bonus with our lovely biiiig gal.

Hi Marcella, thanks for the welcome.

It's a beautiful sunny day here. Yesterday was a tad miserable and we spent all day at a local dog show.
It was up at Hell's Mouth so it was a tad windy & drizzly there.
We were glad to get home to warm up.

We missed the heavy rain here but we did have flash floods here in Camborne a month or so back.
The water was lapping at our patio doors but we were OK. Next door was flooded out. The old boy that lives there has been in his cottage for over 40 years and it's the first time ever he's been flooded.

Some other houses had dead rats & used syringes coming up their toilets and had to be evacuated. Our downstairs toilet was gurgling away and I'm so glad I never knew about the bloomin' rats 'till the following day otherwise I'd have wet meself Laughing
What is happening to our weather? Laughing Laughing

Shocked ....... ewww, that's awful!

God only knows whats happening with our weather, no summer whatsoever. Thankfully up here we haven't had the rain that south of the border have had to contend with.
Whatever happened to the 'hotter than average' summer we were supposed to have! Sad
