Went to the races last night - Hamilton Park Silver Bell Cup...

Wore a hat for the first time in my life! Felt a bit conspicuous at first, but once I got used to it I decided it was "the look"! LOL! We should all go back to the 40's and start wearing hats again!!!

(This isn't as dressy an event as my hen night one... so don't worry girls, we can be a lot more glam for ladies night!)

And I even got a few wee winners...! Go horse GO!

Yeh I'd like a fascinator instead of a hat. I'd never wear the hat again. I have the opposite problem than Shirley... my heads too big (in the literal sense Laughing

), plus I dont want to wreck the fro!! Laughing

I've worn hats LOADS of times. Every wedding I've ever been to I've worn a hat, I think it finishes the outfit perfectly. Smile
