I have to say how proud I am that you all got off your backsides and did this..........it took guts to say you were going to do this and a hell of a lot of work to prepare.
like I said I am proud of you all
love the new avatar Lins....cool
I hope we still get to do our long walks now this is over? _________________ John Thomson

LOL! Then twice along the canal, eh Izzy!!??
I was thinking the same thing myself John...
But as I certainly plan to do the full-moon moonwalk next year and I hope to get a place in the London Marathon in 2010, as well as cramming in as many munros as LindyAnna is willing to drag me up between now and then... I think it is fair to say that the long walks will continue!
We should make a point of trying to do one long walk every week - perhaps keep it to either a Wednesday or a Monday night...? What do you guys think?

I have no plans to give up my long walks ............. just because there's no Moonwalk in a few months doesn't mean to say I stop walking. I've become used to it ........... addicted to it and it's keeping me fit and healthy (well in relative terms!!!!)
I am not likely to be out tomorrow night as I plan to rest my feet and visit my new niece instead. But just try stopping me going out later in the week!
Got Ben Nevis to get fit for...........!
Not sure about the London Marathon Linsey .......... Lindy and I were discussing that as were were pounding the streets of Edinburgh at 6am this morning. We're more keen on the idea of the West Highland Way or the Caledonia Challenge
But we'll see..................... |

WHOOP WHOOP we survived I'm loving all the pics and like you guys I have no plans to give up my longer walks I love them and will admit to being addicted to them not so sure about the London Marathon only because I think me knees would suffer badly, I could do the run and in a decent time but I would severely do my knees in I think. I'm up for the West Highland Way Race or the Caledonia challenge I'll explain what they involve out on a walk to see what you think. |

I've always fancied the West Highland Way Race. Been wanting to do that for a few years now... just no one else really wanted to do it with me. I would like to do the West Highland Way camping over a few days first though before I done this! Would take a LOT of preparation though.... think I would die if I tried it just now! lol. _________________ Ashley with Holly & Murphy.
