I took the boys out for a walk tonight .............. Diesel was unimpressed! Confused Dunno if it was the rain that was upsetting him or the fact that he seems to be getting lazy and can't be bothered walking. I had to drag him along as he kept stopping and standing firm in defiance!
Yesterday I took him up Barhill and he did the same, he stopped and I had to coax him along.

On the way back home I decided to jog up the path ........... Shocked .............. Murphy was out in front pulling me along and my other arm was outstretched to the back dragging Diesel with us!!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Tilly is only 8 months and she's at that stage already Laughing

Maybe Diesel thinks he is taking you for a walk, he sees you walking murphy and murph is in front so maybe Diesel believes if he walks behind he becomes in charge, are you doing your pack order? Very Happy

if i try to run with the girls Inca is out in front and Gypsy lags behind, which is surprising as Inca is the more solid of the two and Gypsy has the more athletic frame.

i think dogs are just wearied, it would be interesting to hear what they were thinking

I have the same problem with Holly and Murphy. Murphy clearly didnt get the exercise he should have been before we got him... so I have Holly out in front... and Murphy not wanting to push himself even an inch forward. This usually happens after about an hour... of even gentle walking! Rolling Eyes He's getting fitter though! Cool

Marcella, I suspect Murphy told Diesel about what John and him did....

"Murphy: diesel, i got up and dragged out door with the human".. "he took me for a very long mountain walk"..."Diesel: No, I not going up another mountain"

Thats what happening Marcella, he's worried!
