Well, we've done it!!! We have arranged for a wee sister for Tess. She is another Parson Russell, her name is Belle, and we dont get her till 5th October, (how are we goin to wait that long?)
She is the one in the middle........

We've not even met her yet Janis!!!
As I've already told a couple of people, we where looking on the internet when we came across an ad for an older dog. Because of the location, and age we where pretty sure it was a littermate of Tess that the breeder was selling. Janey got all 'I want him', but I was really unsure about bringing in a15 month old dog. Janey managed to puersade me into at least getting in touch with him and asking question. Turns out it was an old ad he had forgot to remove, and the dog was sold long ago...... but he has pups just now!!!!! He sent the pics to us, we told him we'd prefer a bitch, so only had the choice of one white headed one, and the tricolour similar to Tess. So we took the white headed one in the middle.
Some might think it's odd buying a pup we've not seen, but it's too far away to nip up and down (Dornoch, 3 and a half to 4 hour drive). We where more than happy with his set up when we got Tess. The pups are brought up on a croft, live in the house, mix with his children and other dogs. Tess has been such a great wee dog, the new pup has the same sire, and we met the mother (different from Tess's) the last time we where up (we actually told him we'd take her in a flash), both are worked on the croft and with a gamekeeper pal. He also gave us a fantastic price as we have kept in touch with him since buying Tess. It just alll fell into place and feels right.
So we REALLY cant wait for Oct 5th, as we havnt even had a cuddle and a lick from her yet!!!!
