My parents came home from Tiree today with Tilly, she brought us a lovely present of fleas. We have bathed her in flea shampoo and they seem to be all gone so far but wont know for about another 7 days.
Where could she have caught them from? The house they stayed in?(cats have lived there previously) or perhaps from the beach?
Any ideas of the best way to tackle this situation completely? _________________

fleas can live dorment in carpets and under skirting for years, we have tima on a thing called spot on, she gets a we drop put on the back of her neck every month we get it from the vets.
our cat also has to get an injection every 3 months even tho she a indoor cat, vets say that the dog can bring them in and all it takes is for one to jump on to her
there horrible little oops i swore _________________

im not sure but going by what vets say (not sure if its just money making) there not as good, same for worming, when tina was about 2 i noticed she had worms but had been worming her regulary with bob martin so couldnt under stand how she got them, vets said that worming tablets from pet shops dont work, so i just stick to the vets stuff now, to b honest its not that more expensive and if it works well its woth it _________________

I hate nasty little flea boogers
Now I have an outside cat we may see them more, not had to worry in a while, but any time our lot get fleas it seems to be this time of year. We just use either frontline or advantage, cant remember which one and every now and again I check them with a flea comb .
I would say for fleas and wormers, vet stuff is the best, the shop bought stuff hasnt enough of the stuff in them as you need a licence to sell the proper ones.... either the vets or that site Lindy put on is the place to get them really _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

Plenty of people successfully use Frontline for fleas and ticks......you have to buy it online or from the vets as it is not available in shops.
This site supply a lot of things with no prescription that other site require a prescription for.

I've been hearing reports from people that Frontline doesn't seem to be quite as effective as it used to be and now my vet and apparently quite a few others are now recommending Advantix which is very similar and is also obtainable either via vet or online pet pharmacies as already mentioned. _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |
