Hi
This is a first for me contributing to a forum and new puppy owner. We have just got Guinness a 5 month old black lab and we are still reeling from the change in our lives.

I live in Cumbernauld with my son and daughter both 20 somethings we have always been around dogs but never owned one we eventually decided that we would take the plunge and we got Guinness last week . He is adorable but very boisterous so quickly signed up for puppy training starting next Sunday so hopefully will be able to introduce ourselves to other participants

Hello Maureen, I'm Cate and I have a choc lab puppy called Bonnie.

She is 14 weeks old and and we look forward to meeting you at class on Sunday.

Are you at 12 o'clock class?? Bonnie has been two weeks now and she loves it. I am sure Guiness will be the same.
What a great name you've chosen.

See you there

Hi Maureen. Love your dog's name. We have Dexter a 7 month old lab who loves the challenges of training and this has helped calm him down greatly. Have you read the section on pack order it's very helpful with the lab boisterousness. Hope to meet you on one of the walks soon, they are a great way to socialise the dogs as well. I love the way that Dexter now just falls in line if we are beside John's german shephard Murphy- he knows whose boss then ( either John or Murphy- not sure which tee hee).
