i believe it is a 'Malinoi' (you have no idea how long it took me to find the spelling lol) it is a Shepard, but very high drive and agile. alot are used as police or gard dogs.

will definitely be doing that with echo as she darts off when you go for her collar. thanks for posting.

it is a Malinios one of the three types of Belgian Shepherd.. the others are totally diffrent to look at..... one the Gronendahl(sp) is completely black .. the other the Tueveren(sp) has a tight curly coat

Correct Kendal.........a Belgian Malinois.......that is what GSD's looked like a while back....bread only for working ability and not looks back then.......
They are being used more and more for military and police work......very high drive working dogs ......completely fearless hence their use in protection work......

Those special forces ones did not want to let go. One even had a go at the handler.

I love all the forces dogs. My brother was a dog handler in the RAF police for 6 years. I got the chance to put on the big padded suit and pretend to be the prisoner. That got the heart pumping. my arm was still bruised with all that padding. They are trained as attack dogs, not just to bark and scare you off. That memory will stay with me for a life time. Love doing it, but wouldn't do it again soon.
