We went to the Bannockburn Dogs' Dinner show today....I really enjoyed meeting you all and your dogs! Very Happy

I entered Roxy in the Crossbreed Bitch Class (7 years and under) of Scruffts and would you believe we came first out of 30 odd dogs! That means we're going to Earls Court in London in November this year! Very Happy I am absolutely delighted as Roxy has come on such a long way and is a pure joy to own. I even shed a few tears! Embarassed Laughing

Molly also got 3rd in her obedience class (we even beat competition Border Collies!), and my friend got first with her dog, Cassie.

Very Happy Congratulations. I knew Roxy had won a class but I didn't realise just how well she'd done. She's a lovely little dog and I think you said she was a rescue. Its alwats good to see them doing well. Laughing Laughing

Thanks, Janice. Very Happy

She has gone from strength to strength with obedience and agility and just her general self. I'm chuffed to bits with how far she's come on. Smile

Just shows you what kind and consistant training can do! Very Happy

We also done a couple of agility round today with Molly. In the first round, I let her down and missed a jump....but I hadn't walked that part of the course so had no idea that jump was included, it also wasn't the same colour as the rest! (That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it!) Laughing We had great fun though, and that's the main thing.

In the second round, Molly did it very well. She knocked down one jump after getting a bit spooked by a "Labradoodle" at the side of the ring. Still, again it was fun for both of us! Very Happy

I'm sure agility should be all about fun for dogs and handlers. Its such a pity when it gets too serious.
Molly would enjoy it whither she won or not. I'm glad you did too.

I once seen a woman march her collie right out the ring at an agility competition once...because it backjumped a jump.... Rolling Eyes Ridiculous. You carry on and finish the course and have fun with the dog. Well, that's what most of us do anyway! Smile

Did anyone come across the alternative therapies? I looked out for them but there was so much to see.
