well fokes 2010 so far has been crap for me to date.

i have been caught up in a credit card scam, you sign for a free trial and they add you to a subscription list that makes you pay a whooping £73 a month for the product. Acai is meant to be a new work out pill that helps you work out longer in the gym.

i used my credit card and it sets up a continues payment that can only be broken by the company in question, i called the credit card company and because of the set up of all credit card canceling the card does nothing, canceling the account does nothing. so far i have managed to cancel i think but still waiting on the infamous cancel email, once i have the email the credit card can stop any further transactions.

i just thought i would give everybody a heads up in case it comes along.

oh alan!!!!!.....i didn't think you would have signed up for anything like this.....you are in great shape as it is and you don't need to last longer in the gym or anything.

anyhow surely there must be a loop hole somewhere.....even if it means a cancellation fee of one month or something.....get onto martin lewis.....the money man expert....i've seen him deal with emails from folk who have got inot fixes and he's managed to advise a way out.....worth a go!!!

I would have thought that if you used a credit card and not a debit card you would be ok........I know recurring payments on a debit card are almost impossible to stop.

I Thought the same as janis that canceling the account and card would stop but NO, what they do is charge virgin and virgin would then bill me.
