I spoke to a woman the other day with a new shar pei puppy. She called petplan for a quote and they quoted her £75 for a pup! Just because of the breed and the fact they get a lot of probs. Got it half the price with asda.

Im £22 for alfie and that's a lifelong one with petplan.

£34 sounds really expensive to me. Try phoning them. Another person I know called up to complain that they'd increased the insurance when they'd had no claims and they took it back down again. If u don't ask u don't get???

We are with Morethan and were horrified to get renewal before Xmas saying now need to pay excess + 10% of remainder. Our problem lies with a huge claim in our first year for Hektor for around £3500, don't think we would be covered for calcium lump removal if we moved to another company if the problem happened again so felt we had to stay with them. Think we are about £25 for Hektor and £12 for Millie per month. Do feel we got our moneys worth in Heks first year though!
