Yeah right !!!! who is going to look close enough ......

Zebra spider
Salticus scenicus
Zebra spiders belong to the family Salticidae (also known as jumping spiders) who are believed to have the best eyesight of any arthropod. If you take a close look at one of these spiders it will often turn its head to look straight back at you.

and we are talking UK here not Australia Shocked

Laughing Now, I'm not scared of spiders and I came down stairs last night and said, "Oh look, it's a big massive spider" and walked past, at that point, Diesel who was lying next to it had a sniff then Mum screamed and it was caught and taken out LaughingLaughing

I hate creepy crawlies and I persuaded Jim to buy plug ins that stop them coming in to the house and so far, touch wood, they appear to be working. Any that do make it in don't last long.

I don't mind spiders as they are quite useful for catching flies as long as they keep their distance.

The usually get to live in my house unhindered if I can't reach them, and if I can they get turfed back outside using a glass.

I don't like daddy long legs though - they are too floaty and spindly and lay their eggs in the grass and ruin it. They die.
