hey gillian and welcome.....belle is lovely and a typical lab....full of fun and bounce and desperate to say hi to everyone!

over the weeks you will see a difference in her and she will catch on to what you are asking of her......best advice i can give you in what you learn in class repeat at home and don't practice more than 5 to 10 mins a few times a day and make it fun! she'll be just fine!

Hi All

Good to eventually be on the forum and recognise some people! Hopefully Belle will be a bit calmer on Sunday and no accidents this time lol

Hi there and welcome to the forums I go to classes on a Sunday with Alfie my 1yr old staffy.

Wouldn't worry about accidents. Alfie used to pee several times or get car sick but save it til in the hall to do. All part of the fun!! Laughing Laughing The classes are great and it's amazing seeing the change in them as they go on. Can't wait to meet her.

Hi there

I went for my first time on Sunday too with my little baby Aston - a 9 month old lhasa apso and he too decided to christen the cones.

He was such a nosey little devil but enjoyed it and seems to be enjoying the training too.

Many thanks also to Janis who is a font of all knowledge. I have been doing the '15 minute rule' in the hope that Aston will start eating when I decide not when he feels like it and it is working a little.

See you all on Sunday - hopefully now accidents either!!!

hi pam and aston and welcome......great to see you on line and don't worry too much if aston has an accident in class with all the scents and smells of other dogs it's only natural......the foyer and class is almost like a doggy newpaper where all the dogs take in all the information other dogs have left behind!

see you sunday
