got the girls all suited and booted for a walk in the snow. they loved it

but this is what i had to deal with when i go home

but once we popped them in the bath to melt odd the snow balls i got their cats off and the snuggle down for a sleep. but the boots did stop them going lame on the walk so was an easier walk home, but i don't think il be taking them that far again till the snow is less as we were only out for about 20 mins and they were struggling.

love the pics as usual!...felt so sorry for them all balled up but popping them in a warm bath was the best and quickest way to get them back to normal!

might be a lot of fuss for a short spell out but they love it!

see how it goes today and might get them out again today!

yeah ive just bee sticking to short 20mins walks too. when i bring them home they are frozen and they get big clumps of snow stuck between their toes. not fun. they do love going out in it tho. last night they got a bit hyper so i resorted to running about my back garden like a maddy. did the trick and they loved it xx

the girls are due a hair cute so hopefully they should be better next week when they are shorter. they do walk funny with the snow balls but i dont think they hurt them.

Ooo I was looking at those Pawz bots the other day, was thinking of ordering them, Pixels feet always look raw after coming in from the snow and they keep limping with balls in their pads, glasd to know someone who has used them then.....def. going to order then now

Tip for those who have snow collectors. If you spray oil (vegetable oil or something like that) onto the fur it stops them collecting snow. Vaseline also works. Plus with vaseline is easy to carry to top up if needed. And because they're running about in the snow the majority comes off after the walk in this depth of snow. Would advice if you spray oil to do it at the door step or something to avoid slidy floors lol

Laura Anne I should know that, we did that with the horses hooves, will do their feet with vaseline when take them out later

think I need medium for pixel and everywhere is out of stock, pet planet and canine concepts anyway, I havent tried the main site, will go look now. Think large for luka chops
