Teething is a phase all dogs experience, your dog may be chewing on whatever he can to try to relieve gum pain. Put some brown bread into freezer this is helpful during teething. It must be brown never use white. This will relieve the pain. |

Frozen rubber teething rings will help ease the pain also provide the teething puppy with lots of chewable toys, and activities to keep him occupied.

I have used a new dish cloth, soak it in water and put it in the freezer.....cheap re-usable and the puppies love it! _________________ John Thomson

giving him some ice cubes to chew. The cubes will really numb his tender gums. Only problem i had was i broke a glass in the kitchen and he thought it was the ice cubes. bad news he started chewing on it and cut his mouth. |

And if your pet allows it, try giving him a mouth massage. First, relax him with some gentle stroking on the outside of his mouth, and gently rub his gums in a circular motion. |

I actually used bonjella on Dora and it helped her loads, all medicines are tested on animals (I don't condone this but it's a fact) so therefore most medications can be used on dogs if used in the correct quantities, I have a friend who is a chemist and makes and tests (not on the animals) and she explained that this would be safe and it was and helped tones, I also use child's anti histamine on Dora as she is allergic to plug in air fresheners. |

Otto used my dining room table the other week - he was rather sharply reminded that he has numerous teething toys and the table leg ain't one of them. |
