Hopefully I've sussed out how to load the pics now without needing to bother John - here goes!

I'm not convinced that anyone's going to see any pics, but if you can - then the first 3 are of him during the course of his life in his favourite position - on the wall.

The last pic is a shot I used for fridge magnets:-))

Sorry if this doesn't work - John has given me instructions which, being a woman, I have followed to a T so here's hoping! His instructions said to paste in the img code and the pic would appear, but it's only copying the address!!!

Kind regards
Lynn and Oscar x

Thanks, Marcella

Yep, he's certainly a poser - particularly on 'his' wall. We'd only had him a week when that first pic was taken - it seems to be a natural place for him to be:-))

He loves to stand there surveying what's going on! I also use it to groom him - when he sees me with his comb he runs to the wall and stands waiting! Much easier on the back - no bending:-))

Kind regards
Lynn

Thanks, Karen and Kirsty

I'm sure we can manage a trip over to Cumbernauld in the not too distant future!

He's a typical male - full of his own importance, and doesn't tolerate other males too well - just a warning:-))) John will tell you what he's like sometimes - loves to make his presence known in the training hall when we start off!!

Kind regards
Lynn

Oscars pics are lovely Lynn.

But you have to see him in the flesh to get an idea of his sheer physical presence. This is the most dominant male I have ever come across. Dodge , Kaiser Diesel and the like that we are used to simply do not compare to Oscar in this respect. When Oscar enters a room he demands your respect!Needless to say Oscar wears a prong Very Happy

Lynn you are more than welcome to come along anytime to see us and say hello, we would be delighted to see you and Oscar.

Hi Kendal

Yep, you're quite right! It was Patti La Belle's dog that was on! I didn't see the whole programme, but a short video was posted on our club messageboard and I watched that!

It was sad to see that beautiful dog in a situation where its owner couldn't (or wouldn't) even look him in the eyes! I would hazard a guess and say that she probably had no contact with him from day 1, and then wondered why she had a problem!

As far as I can remember, the guy managed to turn him around quite well? Didn't she then rehome the dog???

yeah she hadn't gone near the dog for like three years. her trainer or dog walker took him on.
he was a lovely dog, wish i could remember his name.
the dog walker said he was lovely and you saw her playing with him but she did say that she had to watch him with other dogs which is why she was hadn't taken him home with her. Caesar took him to his place to see how he would react to other dogs and i think he was actually rather submissive

how old is you big boy now, i have only just realized your boy was the one who had a thing for pixel Laughing

Hi Kendal

Oscar was born on Bonfire Night in 2003 and is now coming up for 4 years old! Should've called him Guy, I suppose!

I think it's a tough call for BB breeders to place their pups in good homes! That's one of the reasons why I have no intention of becoming a breeder, or allowing Oscar to be used as a stud dog - I don't want the responsibility:-))

Oscar loves the ladies, but really does not tolerate males! I don't know how far he'd go before he backed off (or even if he would back off) because I don't allow him to get into that situation!! Better safe than sorry! I always have to be one step ahead of him!

Lynn
