What a buzz.

thank you so much for letting me sit in and join in.

These dogs are fab, walking without a lead to heel, stopping to sit and down while the handlers keep going.

definitely something to aspire to.

I had such fun n so did Dodge

Dodge says thanks too xx

Kirsty,

Dodge and you can do this.........it is not difficult..........the dogs can do it easy.....we just have to guide them and show them how.......I think you should come to the 9PM class with him.......if you want to do the 8.30 with Bob?

Glad you enjoyed it.

Yea,

did you see him grinning from ear to ear

thinks he see's you as his adopted mom, I need to keep making that liver cake or he might just stay in your car at the end of a walk one of these days Laughing Laughing

What a hoot when he was terrified of the fly ball. He is like that with every single thing mechanical - he goes nuts at the strimmer, the mower, and is terrified of the hoover. Though dont anyone tell him I told you so - he has his street cred to consider Wink

John

yea, yea, yea Laughing Laughing Laughing

If we are not working out, we can re-consider.

But I take on board what you are saying. I think I could get him to do it all but dont know how to make him walk off the lead.

I will need to really listen to the handler commands as I know tonight I should have had him sit in front of me before I attempted a finish.

Also I think Dodge was picking up on the fact that I was very nervous and also he had just had to concentrate for 30 mins before that and it was mabey a bit much for him.

but really looking forward to it - dont know how BB will react to training when he knows Dodge is in the vicinity.

But how well had Dodge come on eh! before the classes finished up for the break I could hardly get him to say on his back side for more than 10 seconds -Do you remember he just would not sit.

ooooh - Im really excited.

Stuart,

Doogle is still a baby!

He is just so in love with life and everything around him that he is excitable.

But hey, My boys wouldnt sit like Doogle does to wait to come off the lead or be put on - You do know that I had to buy a lassoo (know thats not how you spell Lasoo) to let me leash Dodge, he ducks and dives like a boxer whenever I try to put a leash on him.

I think Doogle is doing G R E A T!

Kirsty,

you have him walking off leash several times a day.....you just need to get him used to walking close to heel off leash.......you need to believe in yourself...........not can I do........ it but HOW can I do it Very Happy

Kirsty I'm no expert but you and Dodge looked great in the class last night and I just thought that was the class you had been in before the break and had gone into intermediate as you were a bit rusty, he did most of the stuff you asked. I think you should def take him to those classes you will be doing it all perfect in a few weeks Laughing Laughing Laughing

I think so too Lindy. Dodge did really well considering he was standing next to me and Murphy! Laughing
And Kirsty ........ he thought about going for the ball during the sit/stay but DIDN'T!!!!!!! Very Happy

I don't know if Murphy is well behaved in that class or if he's uninterested...... he sits and looks bored. He'll do a sit/stay for 3 hours if I ask him Laughing But lift out the flyball and he comes to life! Very Happy He got all excited seeing that he runs and thumps it to release the ball - Dodge jumped out of his skin, poor boy! Laughing

Libby would be amazing doing fly ball. I would love to try it with her. Star on the other hand wouldn't give a monkeys uncle if a ball was rolling past him, he would pass the test with flying colours Laughing
