Hello Everyone
My names David and I live with my wife Sharon and my two kids in Durham. We are the proud owners of three Staffordshire Bull Terriers, which are all show dogs aswell as much loved family pets. I'll introduce them to you
This is Lance he is nearly three
This is Amber ( Lances Daughter ) she is 19 month old
And our newest arrival Lily, she is just 18 weeks old
This photo was taken when she was 8 weeks
My wife and I are both committee members of the North Eastern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club and have enjoyed showing our dogs over the last three years.
I stumbled across this site as I was surfing the net as I'm about to walk up Ben Nevis with three other people and our dogs in aid of two charities Teenage Cancer Trust & The Stafford Welfare. We are planning to do the walk on the 17th Sept 08.
Once I found your site I enjoyed reading the threads, I'm already a member of a couple of other dog forums but they are breed specific ones, So I'm looking forward to taking part on here
All the best David _________________ NESBTC Website

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, just spent most of this afternoon looking through the site .Really enjoyed it
John could I ask you how your dogs feet coped with the climb up Ben Nevis. Its my only concern, as I think Lance is fit enough. _________________ NESBTC Website

Murphy's feet were fine........he coped really well....coming down requires more concentration than going up.....I did it at a pace because I was on my own with Murphy .....lots of dogs were on the mountain the day I did it.....there are sheep and sheer drops so it is an 'on leash' walk......I have a new site www.extremedogwalking.com ........just a holding page at the moment but hopefully a world wide forum will be up and running soon............I know there are loads of people who take their dogs on longer walks. _________________ John Thomson
